Informed Patients
What Board Certification Means
Certification by an ABMS Member Board has long been considered the gold standard in physician credentialing and has prompted both the medical community and patients to now inquire, with greater frequency, whether or not a physician is board certified.  Board certification through the ABMS, demonstrates a physician’s exceptional expertise in a particular specialty and/or subspecialty of medical practice.  Be sure to check the credentials of any surgeon you are considering, and make sure that he or she is board-certified in plastic surgery.  We believe the most informed patient is the best patient. Your health is most important, ask questions and do your research when selecting the right doctor and practice for you.
